One of the objective of the ‘Zarden Zanfan’ project, is for the Little Explorers to learn the trade of sales, marketing and entrepreneurship. After a couple of weeks of gardening, it was time to harvest the crops for a community sale to fund the Club’s activities. They harvested herbs like Celery, Parsley, Leeks; spices like Chilies and vegetables like Chinese cabbage. In addition, there were seedlings of tomatoes and lettuces for sales. The team set up their station at the Bel-Ombre fish loading area at the port where unfortunately there are no facilities like markets to serve the community.
Nonetheless, the Little Explorers setted up their products on a small table and the sales began. Curious passersby and other clients purchased the products and some people even made some donations to the club. It was a day well spent.
