The Western Indian Ocean Mangrove Network (WIOMN) is preparing a publication of a book “Mangrove Ecosystem Restoration in the Western Indian Ocean Region: Lessons and Experiences towards the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030. The main objective of the book is to document through specific cases on the opportunities and challenges for success in restoring mangrove ecosystems in the WIO region based on field lessons and experiences and providing a regional roadmap to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
